Rod holder/stand's
« on: Jan 23, 2005, 03:15 AM »
Meaning, I have a Schooley ice rod with a built on rod holder, it's the one that keeps it just up off the ice. Does anyone have any idea where you can purchase just the holder/stand??

I've been surfing for over an hour, and either I'm lost in cyber space, or they just don't exist?

Thank's in advance.  :)

Some bait and tackel shops used to carry ones that clip to the rod, they were rubber and had 2 wire type legs.On my old Schooley type rods I just drilled a hole through the handle and foced a piece of welding rod though it and bent the welding rod down on each side to make legs...
