Yukon X Thermal Tent on Old Yukon

Has anybody used a Yukon X thermal tent on an original Yukon? I want to buy a new tent for my Yukon and Clam suggested the X thermal. They said it will fit well but the Velcro loops will be larger.

the loops are larger because the newer yukons are the 1 1/4 inch poles and the older ones were only 7/8 inch poles. Customer service knows what they are talking about so if they said it would work it would work.

I just had the exact same thing delivered to me this week.  Have not had time to make the swap (still deer season) but CS said it would work.  By the way, they were extremely polite and helpful, I was very impressed.
