Well, It looks like after setting a date for the SBH get together; even after telling my wife the date and getting the "it's O.K. signal "she forgot that her cousin is getting married that day

. I cannot believe this s@$t).Anyway, i guess i'm out unless you guys don't mind moving it to the 5th(sunday). I don't want the date to change if the 4th works for everyone, but if the 5th. works for everyone too and it's not a lot of trouble that would be great. If not, i'm gonna get out on the 5th. anyway and anyone that wants to meet up and fish at the SBH or somewhere else let me know. Sorrry about the mix up. Utes

Well, that sucks. Cousins aren't really that high on the priority list though, are they?

What is the general consensus?
Does everyone think the ice will be good for a bunch of people?

LOL-That's what I was thinking Hali-man, but my wife is good about letting me do my thing(fish,hunt) basically whenever i want. I don't want to get on her to much about the brain fart she had as i generally have more than her(lol). The ice hopefully will depend on how long this rain and warm weather keeps up. The area is big enough for many I.S. members to fish but i'd say we would need at least 6 inches of ice to be on the safe side . Either way i can't make it on the 4th. , but i'll try to get out and visit either early in the am before the wedding or after it if possible. unless it swithes to the 5th. , then i'm there all day. Either day will work for me if I am back from Illinois by then (should be). I'll be keeping tabs on the boards from there as the hotel I use has internet connections in the room. Just let me know which day the majority would like so I know which day you folks prefer and I'll bring a grill. I'll probably come down both days if I'm back because I'll be going through fishing withdrawals by then but will need to gear up a bit differently for the "outing" as opposed to simply going to "drown some bait!"

isnt the 5th superbowl sunday? it would be nice to have the get toghether when the whole harbor is frozen and we can get out around the corner and over to the freezer quenn area. who knows maybe winter will actually get here and it will be. who knows

utes its so windy up hear right now its unbelievable well we do live in buffalo so i guess its believable but geeees cant we catch a break.They say its 40 degrees right now but the question to the weatherman is how come its snowing and sticking in a hurry to the ground?Thought that wasnt possible lol.They say the wind chill is 19 but i didnt think that effected water freezing only your skin lol!!!Just plain nasty today!!!!
