I met up with elevatorman, Bob1970 and his son, and another friend, Mike, from our Sportsmen Club, on Webster Lake for a leisurely morning outing close to home. We enjoyed pretty steady action on bass and pickerel. No one jigged. All the fish came on tip ups or Nor'easters. I must have had the horseshoe in my pocket today, coming up with the only notable catches, a 5#-4oz. largemouth and a 14" 1#-10 oz. slab calico bass. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then ;D. All of today's fish were released except for the big crappie which was destined for Bob's chowder. Off the ice at 11:00, snoozing by noon.
