I had 13 big 10" perch for my self, my wife,my kids- a 5 year old boy and a 14 month little girl. I also had home made french fries. All was gone in minutes. I need to catch more perch!!. 65 degrees here tomorow might have to

get the boat out?

I applaud your catch.

I applaud your feeding the family with your catch.

I would personally not feed your 14 month old fish yet. The fish you catch in the lakes can contain Mercury that is very bad for everyone, but seriously bad for small children and women who are pregnant. I am not trying to be negative or a kill joy, I just want your kids to enjoy for years to come.

lets see---if i cook them , were looking at maybe 7 tween the 2 of us.

....if the wife cooks , oh boy, 14 at least

I don't know how many a could eat, but I can tell you that I've never caught more than I could eat.

I seem to eat 'em alot faster than I can catch 'em.

At all you can eat perch dinners they start giving me the eye after 5 or 6 plates full.

Rob-s...yeah some of the VFW posts in southern Michigan have all you can eat perch and walleye dinner a few times a year

I usually put around 100 fillets in a bag and between the wife, 2 boys & myself never have to worry about leftovers from a perch fry. Now that the boys are getting bigger, I might have to rethink the bag size.

Trout and Salmon i understand. They are an aquired taste, but perch or any fried fish is a tough one. At least you try them, many won't do even that.

Not many as I am the only one that eats fish.The women of my household ( wife and daughters ) always seem to make a point to come over while I am cleaning them and say EEEEWWW thats gross.I usually grab a fish thats been cleaned a point it at them to get them out my way so I can get too eating them faster...LOL...
