New Ion Anchor Driver

Hey Guys:
Looking at the new Ion anchor driver attachment and was wondering if it’s compatible with the older gen 1 Ion augers. Mine doesn’t have the quick release attachment. Sort of pricey when you could just use a drill and the Eskimo driver attachment for $15 but I was just wondering.

I have one, but am not too fond of the quick attach. It makes the auger just a little taller, and it seems to wander a bit. Nice idea, but I'm not sold.

It's not worth the cost of the attachment.  I just take my cordless drill with a 1/4" drill bit.  Pre-drill the hole and hand screw in the anchor.  Goes pretty quick.
