Girlfriend ordered me one and it showed up today,the reel was zip tied on and it came with 4 rubber grommets that hold the reel on, I don't have a castration tool,any help here??

I used 2 angled split ring pliers to open up the castration band then my brother pushed the rod thru.

I pulled them over the front of the rod (eyelets, etc.) and didn't need a tool to get them on. It was impossible over the back of the rod.

Ended up doing the same thing  Gunflint,it worked but a pain.Im ordering another for my girlfriend.
