Thought I saw that pic a couple years ago. If it is one of the same I heard it came from Lake Havasu.

They do catch big crappie in that area. Whenever I see someone holding a fish with out stretched arms I call BS. A big fish doesn't need any help.

You're not supposed to tell everybody about the stretch arm trick LOL

Nice picture. Gotta be true it's on the internet. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I read it was caught in IL on lake Kinkaid and weighed 4 lb 5 oz in 2010
-
Not sure though, that picture has made the rounds since that time. Probably have to hire a PI to find the truth now. Here's another picture from the March 2010 article.

Ya I heard about that one . I believe this is another one

Now that is a believable pic ! And truly a slab trophy

That was my thoughts too . It said in the info I was told it was the new STATE record for whatever ever state it was caught. If that's not the world record I would sure like to see the world record!

Carolina's north and south record black crappie is 5 pounds. White crappie is 5.1. Its still big but not seven pounds. And its not the Kincaid crappie either I don't believe.

Thanks for sharing roe boat that's interesting , it amazes me how the internet can twist and change things all around

That first pic can be found in many places! I think I found the correct info but like I said above, by now a really expensive private investigator may be required to find the truth. With that pic anyway.

Tape measure over the top will give you an inch longer vs. a board on a fish that size.

Yes, one of my big pet peeves
Lack of closing the mouth and making sure it's on the zero mark is another one
