33* and sunny.

WW, not a bad day of catching. Some nice ones.

Mr. C, sounds like a good game. Price Chopper does have that but I keep an eye on the wife, doesn't take much to tire her out. I am not ready for a walker quite yet, I think is more the standing around. Prices have gone crazy on everything. Gas here is $3.79 and summer isn't here yet.

Bowling banquet tonight, going to the Raindancer, "filet" waiting for me.

Have a good day and be well....h2l

Good evening, received good news from a cousin and my sister same message. My great aunt came through her procedures in good shape. I assume she is now at her daughter and son in law's home dealing with some pain and will start rehab once she is doing better. Guessing she is off or on a reduced dosage of any pain killers. Thank you all for the prayers and best wishes.

I did get to the lacrosse game very exciting  Cornwall was trailing 6 goals to 2 at half time. They fought their way back into the game and were leading by a goal at one point in the game. Regulation time ended with game tied at 10 goals for each team. Around two minutes or less into the "Suden Victory" overtime period Washingtonville took a shot goaltender made the initial save put could not gather the rebound scramble of players in front of goal ball came free recovered by a Washingtonville player who put it into the net before the Cornwall goal tender could get back into position. Hard week for Cornwall a victory on Monday followed by a loss by large margin on Wednesday and then today heartbreaking loss. Hopefully they can regroup and play better next week and in remaining games of this season. I believe Cornwall's won -loss record to this date is (4-5) . I need to see how they have done this far against other teams in their Class which will determine if they make it to post season playoffs for divisional title and advancement to state tournament.

Wallyworld thank you for the photo. I watched an outdoors /fishing show years back the host was fishing the same area of Lake Ontario as you did yesterday. Supposedly the warm water released from the nuclear plant that is used to cool the reactor promotes good plant life which attracts the baitfish and in turn the trout and other gamefish. just follow any guidelines for consuming your catch. The chances of you developing health issues related to eating fish from Lake Ontario is probably low. I think the chance of Mr. WW or you developing mutant powers and joining the X-men is just a myth. ::)

Prior to the game stopped at a Subway sandwich location purchased a footlong Chicken Teriyaki sub and 20 ounce Diet Coke shocked when told my purchase cost. ($18.47 including the tax)  $14.19 for the sub, $2.89 for soda ,$1,39 tax. I politely told the young lady behind the counter guess Subway will not be getting my business in the future. She smiled and said I understand  sir unfortunately the days of "$5 dollar Foot Long" subs are now a memory.

Have a good night and weekend everyone. best to all with fishing plans.

Good morning, 49 with sunshine and blue sky currently light wind. My sister and I have still not received any word on our great aunt if I do not hear anything by tonight will Email her daughter figure it is best to give them a few days to themselves. Some time since I've posted any food recall information have 2 to share with all of you.

ConSup North America,INC. has recalled packags of pre-sliced prosciutto made in Germany and sold under name "Stockmeyer" . The prosciutto was shipped before being inspected to see if it meets U.S. standards. It has meet Germany's requirements. Multiple lots recalled for more information contact Luann Servidio at Consup (973)-628-7330      Email - [email protected]

Pepsi products recalled for mislabeling no health risk unless you are diabetic and consumed a large quantity of soda depending on personal health condition.
Schweppes Zero-sugar ginger-ale found to be the formulation with sugar after reports from consumers and product testing.
Mug root beer is the reverse product labeled to have sugar food to be zero-sugar formulation.

Ice Wanderer thank you for the information on how the U.S. navy disposed of radio-active waste water from it's nuclear powered submarines during your years of service. In one of the articles I've read on Indian Point it was mentioned that radio-active water is being released into the Hudson river from waste water of hospitals with patients on nuclear medications after being treated at municipal sewage treatment plants and then released into the Hudson. glad things are drying out by you and weather is allowing you to do some yard work. take it easy if helping the neighbor/boss with the association clean-up this weekend.
Hunts2long next time you visit the price Chopper check to see if they have a small sitting area located by the Bakery,Deli departments. their store by me has this area. Another option check with your medical insurance and Medicare they may cover the cost of a walker. My father had neuropathy later in his life and could not walk long distances before his legs become numb and tingled(think what is commonly said to be a fallen asleep foot) eventually would temporally lose all feeling in legs. The model walker he used folded up and had a flip down seat so a person could take a rest. Since most of the Speed carts have a basket for purchases on them and use maybe pushing an additional shopping cart might be a  way to attach the folding walker to either cart and the quickly remove it when you need to take a break. Glad your wife is letting you drive her new car for brief periods of time.
Wallyworld congratulations to the two of you on the catch of brown trout. Looks like you both were wearing your Striker jackets to fight the wind and stay warm.
Eddie good to hear you also good out fishing and caught some of this year's stocked trout. Once the MRI is evaluated may it be good news and you only have to make quarterly visits to doctor.
Fish/hunt4ever i hope the trailer gets loaded today so one less thing to be done next week at work. may things be on course for your coworker at the Ohio facility so he can return to your plant and his home and family.
Zcm-82 i also receive 4 weeks of vacation time never take more then one week off like you usually returned to a pile of projects that need completing.
Oldsailor thank you for sharing a bit of your history of Naval service. I toured the dry-docked USS North Carolina (now a museum) while on vacation back in the 1990's assume the ship you were on had similar construction with thicker walls in the area of torpedo launch tubes and possibly brass roller system so no sparks. Still a job that requires some caution and attention to detail.

Have a good Friday and nice weekend. I have a few errands to complete this morning . then will take a brief rest planning to attend afternoon lacrosse game between Cornwall and Washingtonville high schools boys varsity teams.

Nice fish team WW, glad you got on the water.  Well looks like an easy wrap to the week, hoping that one trailer gets loaded today to make next week better.
Eddie glad that you got a few tugs on the line, see how the weekend weather goes and see if the boat stays in the shop or heads to the lake, got a tip that some walleye have been caught shallow so would like to get out and check them out.  Have a great Friday everyone.
