Last Mtn should be walkable now, but if you want up to date info you can blow your 10 cents/min and phone Pokey's or CMS hook 'n hunt for specific areas. I know you probably want the north end and I don't go up there much anymore. It got cold here early part of this week so it should be good. Got your cleats?

Some reports say the marina on Deif is fishable.
The Landing has some ice too.
But January is the earliest "I" would go to Deif!

just drove out to buffalo pound there were about10 shacks scattered on the ice seen another 10 sitting on the boat launch ready to go there was 1truck and one car out on the ice. there was a lot of pools of water on the ice and damn slick to walk on. i wish i brought the fishing stuff with me there was really no wind on the ice. one more cold snap and I'll be going out for sure.

Anyone know the latest ice conditions out at the strap? Is there any trucks going out there yet? How much snow if any on the lake?

:)Was out on long lake near Regina beach earlier in the week. There was about 16" of ice. Everyone was driving out onto the ice, some even towed their shacks across the lake to the north side.
So the ice was safe enough to drive on.
Not too shure if you can get on the ice after all of this snow
, will proably need a 4x4 to get around.
