Opening day trout

Who's going out and where are you all headed? I am thinking either Seymour or Magog, if the ice is still there.

Looking like my buddy and I are heading to Magog. That way we can jig up some smelt for the tips and some for the table. Looking to catch a BIG brown. I heard someone caught a huge one this week perch fishing, and had to put it back of course.

Hoping for some ice on Willoughby... If not, probably Little Averill, Wallace, or Magog...

Global warming sucks

I'll be fishing whatever lake has safe ice. Getting on the ice is going to be
the trick.

Wallace is one lake I never tried.  I was wondering what it's like in terms of smelt, trout and warmwater fish.  Looks like it's mainly in Canada.
