Dropped Transducer

While moving my flasher and a replacement Transducer, I inadvertently dropped it on my way to the basement to store them. It hit on a concrete step and marked up the outside edge a bit. What are the chances this Transducer is still ok? Thoughts?

Turn the unit on and see if the ducer still clicks..probably still good unless you broke the crystals inside.

Update: When I set up the M5 for a “floor test”, I turned the unit on and heard a really bad noise, much like the wheel on the older model flashers. Also, I couldn’t get a proper reading even after adjusting the gain up and down. To make a long story short, I got a bad unit “out of the box”, and the company I purchased it from is making it good and replacing the unit at no charge to me.
Poop happens I guess!

To clarify:
The transducer that got dropped was a replacement sent from MarCum. When I unboxed the original that came with the unit, it was scratched thus the replacement. I had not turned on the flasher to floor check it until after my original post re: dropping the (replacement) transducer.
