Fished magic today . Lots of fun great weather kids had a blast! caught 14 trout 8 perch. was hoping for a lot more perch. Most of the trout were 1# or 2#  one nice 3 1/2#. think Ill try salmon falls creek or stone reservoir saturday.

I have been wanting to go to Magic Since the ice started, I am hoping I get to go up there.

Looking at going to Magic this weekend. The ice does not look good at Strike, so my perch are safe for the time being. Never fished Magic, is it good to go around the damn?

you may have a long walk to get to the dam since no road will be cleared. fishing from the West Side is easier due to parking and not such a steep drive in and out as the East Side. although they do have a snowcat this year...better stick with the West Side. fish anywhere between the main ramp and the little island and look for a gut pile.
