Cross and Square lakes Ice
« on: Dec 18, 2010, 02:06 PM »
To anyone that's interested, I went for a ride to Cross and Square lakes today, Cross Had 6"+ of solid black ice and Square had 1 1/2" both lakes locked in solid. Sorry no report for Long Lake. By Jan 1 we should have safe ice everywhere, hopefully.

Bump

I just came back from Square Lake with an update, 3" max on the ice with some open water along shore and out in the center in front of my camp there is either water on top or open, I didn't venture that far out to test.
Definitely going to have to be extra careful this year

Thanks for the updates, I'm from the Augusta area and have a camp on Square near lime stone point.  I will be there on the 31st and be staying for 8 days.  All the updates are appreciated.

She went to Houlton Regional a little more money and TAMC had a thorn in there ass with the way the economy is now.  But hey they had a chance to hire her so the portion they paid for her school went bye bye
