Hey everyone, thanks for the kind words! Excited to be more involved with the shanty community and happy to support the site. Our mission is to set up beginners for success and to help weekend anglers learn new species and techniques. This forum is a great place for us to chip in on sharing knowledge and resources with folks new to the sport.
If you come across any beginner questions we would love a message to the post or link to it on our sponsor board so we can help out.
We are a new company (2 years) so not many ice heads know about us yet. We are really passionate about our products and we believe they serve the noobies really well. However, we have a ways to go in perfecting our kits and combos and there are tons of factors to weigh in on. Try formulating what you believe would be the best combination of ice tackle for the most prevalent species and popular techniques across the ice belt for less than $40 and then put a huge chunk of your savings behind manufacturing all of it and hope your right! :wacko: Well we are on our way there, we made 1000 units of our ice kit this season and have sold 600 so far with really positive feedback. Our combos have been a similar success story as we only have 700 left for the rest of the season. However, both have a lot of room for improvement before we get them into stores. Finding the best balance for the most people is what we are shooting for and this takes a lot of tinkering and time. Longer than the 2 years we have been doing it.
We would love some help from the moderators and top contributors who have earned their stripes to give us some feedback and learn a little bit about what we are trying to do. If you are one of these folks, please send us a message and we would love to send you some of our gear for free and start a discussion.
