pactola 1st or 2nd week in jan.

was thinking about making a trip to pactola for some possible laker action on my days off in january... never targetted them before so this is the first time, any advice? if you'd like to meet up post or PM

I'll be at pactola this winter for northerns in the back of the lake. I don't fish for lakers muck in winter. That ice on the main lake is pretty spooky.

Last season I caught my 35" laker off the South Ramp area late in Feb. Any time you want to head out in Jan give me a heads up. We usually use crappie size minnows. If up can find the post about the 35 incher I have a picture posted of the Jig I was using. I slammed loads of bow 15-18" and a few 18-20" lakers on the same one in different colors.

I've been hitting Pactola hard the last couple of years, looking for lakers. I live in Moorcroft and would be gland to have someone along. I use dead minnows and small tube jigs. I've never landed a big one but have a few on. On a good day 20 to 30 lakers and a mix of other stuff.

I check the board every few days so give me a yell
