So I've heard from several sources (including the forum) about using smelt for pike and am looking to try it in a few days... but my question is, will it work as well for musky? Theres a lake near me loaded with musky and am curious as to wether or not anyone has had much sucess with smelt for musky

I know a guy who fishes Conesus Lake in New York. He uses smelt and catches the occasional Tiger Musky. I don't see why they would not take a dead bait.
