Welcome to “Pike fishing” lol! It happens all to many times. I just had this convo with another guy about ice fishing for pike.  Go 40 hours of fishing without a flag and then boom! A 40” monster.

Yup Menzone not a flag … I’m all set there lol . But that’s big pike fishing . There was a group not far from us getting flags alll day . Catching Perch that were smaller then my baits . They were fishing worms on tip up. They probably thought it was the best fishing ever . We have different thoughts on good fishing days

Well if you’re gonna give it a shot for the first time, Manny is certainly not the best place to try. That place is a snooze fest.

Try Wethersfield cove instead.
