Where did the bluegills go for winter? See Map

I catch  them from shore in spring   but darned if i can fund them under the ice in this northern PA lake.      Thoughts?

Draw a line from the spawning area to the basin area ..that would be my route ..first ice they should be shallow ..then progressively move to the basin ..and then move shallow to spawn in spring/late ice ..the larger ones can and will be crappies . They will be getting the feedbag on now ..right before dark and a lil after as well.
