Was at hardwood 2 weekends ago and they were running side by sides and snow machines . was 8" ice where we were at

I've never fished Hardwood reservoir - how do we access it? I'm meeting a friend there tomorrow - we wonder if people access it from Fordville Road? or do we go to the public access? any help would be appreciated.

Most go off the public access that's the only real parking area.
