Does anyone have any ideas for a homemade ice hut?  I would like to build one for 2 people that is inexpensive and not real bulky(storage wise)!  Any ideas?

Go to cabelas.com and in there ice fishing section they have a tent kit for around 120 dollars. You will need to build a base for it. You can use the plans that come with the tent for the base or let me know and I can send you how we built the base.

Frozen1,is this hut better than the northlander.has it lasted for you.is it durable. im thinking about getting the northlander 4'x8'.

Thanks for the info guys!  I know about the kit from Cabela's, I work there in the winter time!  I am thinking about going that route but would really like to build one if I can find one that I like!
