question about poles and roof rod

So i have a clam 2000 and i am looking into adding another rod for the roof and then using something to span the two rods to make the tarp raise up and give me a little more headroom.  I noticed at the store the Shappell has these roof things but i would like to make one if possible.  Any ideas would be great.  I see that clam sells extra rods so i might just do that but the roof raiser is the difficult part.

Call Shappell and buy a couple of the roof bows. I purchased a roof support kit for my S4000 shappell. It comes with 2 (2 piece) roof support poles with nylon clip ends and two roof bows. $30.00 delivered. You may be able to just buy the bows.

thanks for the help.  I am going to bend some 1/4" plastic and try making the roof bows and then if that doesn't work then i will contact Shappell.  Does Shappell have a website, i cant seem to find one.

I never found a web site for Shappell Corp. Call them and check to see if you can only purchase a roof bow. Shappell - 1-888-571-1144
