Put this up before I saw another post saying naming ponds is frowned upon here.  Understood.  Unfortunately I can't delete the post, only modify the content which I've done (removing my original question).

Steve , Patridge will never be  water needing protection.  Don't worry.  Unlimited yellow perch and few modest pike. Many better alternatives here. 
For anybody anxious,  all open water.
