Any thoughts ? Can’t find any reviews that actually show it cutting holes

I just watched a review of the 24 volt.  Several pounds lighter than the 40v but cuts 50 holes verses 100 holes that the 40v does.  Not sure if that matters to you or not.

I’ve actually watched a few videos since the original post . Actually going to buy one today  Between my gift cards ,BPS points and 10% promo card it’s going to cost me about $250 so we will see how they work soon enough.

I got mine delivered the other day. It's not a light as a drill setup, but it's not much heavier. Very compact setup, I run and gun a lot and this 6" is going to be perfect.  I used a gas auger probably 75% of the season, and a hand auger early/late, but I think I'll probably use this 100% of the time.

Nice, share a review when you get some ice time with it.

I still use a strikemaster solo gas auger. No reason to get rid of it as it still runs perfect, but I’ve been eyeing this new 24v 6” auger. Sounds like a hole hopping machine. I’ve had people tell me to get a drill setup instead, but Im not sold on them. I would need at least three 5 amp batteries or perhaps two and a 9 or 12 amp. A backup battery for the 24v is only 100 dollars. Drill setups are too expensive IMO.
