Don’t worry they have a young child who wants to fish not them they don’t have funds to drive to check but we do they have young children and no time, none of us have kids or anything, gotta help them out. They aren’t “ looking for your “honey hole“

Just one 200 lb. Goose. OK my wife says a 250 lb. turkey!!!
Shallow ponds have one inch of ice and two inch snow cover. Ice making formula indicates two more inches of ice by next sunday.
Need skinny people to shovel snow and chisel ice. Maybe DIGS will come north?

I'll be taking a ride tomorrow. Hopefully I'll find some ice. Don't think it'll be fishable but we'll see.

all my fall 'chores" are done, summer lawn equipment put away, the boats in hibernation( sniff 'sniff), venison has been procured and enough beer has been brewed.. this weekend I switch the bed of the truck from Summer to winter mode, go through the gear.. I dont need to be the first one or last one on the ice anymore.. I just need to get on the ice.. started thinking about those early Rainbows last night while cleaning fish tanks...

Digs? Looks like the inch and one half of shore ice I found on my Littleton , shallow ponds.
Still hoping for two weeks for my safe 4" ice under snow!! Sunny and flurries today.
Wish I could still track deer!

After striking out with ice at the first few spots I was happy to walk on water and scratch the itch...... 3.5 hours of drive time today

Starting to see folks hit the ice is giving me the itch bad, but still 4-5 weeks to first ice down here.

Pfffffft. I'll have that beat 50 times over before the new year. I catch even smaller monsters than that all day long. I even caught a pike smaller than that.
