I would like to suggest a new shanty under the Miscellaneous Shanty title of 'Political Shanty'. I respect others opinions, even when i disagree with them because it is their right to think and act as they choose. Enough is enough! This is Ice Fishing Indiana. I am not trying to tick anyone off or rip their freedom of speech, but the political topics need to be sent to a new home. Can i get an amen?

I'm on golf forums and they either send it to political purgatory or don't allow it at all. Get rid of it.
It's divisive and nothing good can come from that.

Sadly enough, it'll never work. Politics and the like will creap into almost any topic discussed...we have become an angry society. So far, I haven't fallen victim for the most part...still pretty happy here.

Kinda like a deer in head lights aint it? Personally, it seems that political discussions always go south. It is a topic that gets peoples blood flowing and brings out ire.

I always try to let you guys talk about what you want to,If the language and content goes over the line,then I remove it.I definatly was quite surprised to see that the comments stayed pretty good.
If all can just not post it will run its course right down to the bottom of the list to be never be seen again,once it gets down a page or so,I remove them.I also agree this is an off topic thread and I will move it to where it belongs.. JT
