I have gone 4 times now and failed every time, looking for some helpful advice.
I already tried bottom corner of the dam as well as south of the northshore campground boat dock.

Willow creek bay on top of those humps. Or around the point above it.

A disclaimer. I am terrible at picking good spots.

Do you fish it in open water?  If you catch them during open water might try those spots

I have to agree with the willow creek area. That huge point in front of the campground. Daytime try the 20' or greater depth. Low light conditions early morning late evening. I would be all over that 15 ' contour line. Tip ups with chubs or shiners. Jigging with a blade or spoon bait.

I know this is an old thread but I was curious if you did end up having success and if so what was the break through for you?
Blue snow is better than yellow snow

I used to make stuff up for Ms. Cleo. Does that count?
I live in the midwest now but have fond memories of fishing in New England as a kid.
