Chefs traveling ice show to flat horn
« on: Jan 22, 2007, 12:58 PM »
We left Eagle river at 6 am for a half day trip to flat horn as i had to work that evening. For the first time that i can remember the fishing was fairly poor. I think a front is coming in as the weather is changing. We had 5 flags between 5 of us and we caught two small fish. The ride out is very bumpy, but on the lake we found 2 feet of fresh powder, how fun that was! There is over flow in parts you have to be careful. There were several other parties fishing and they also were slow. Still a great trip to get out and watch the sun come up, lots of fun. Chef

Oh yea and for you Packer Fans i now know how your pain feels as my Patriots truly blew it yesterday!

How did Peggy handle in the powder?

I got out this weekend with the boy.  It was cold for here...about -9 but the boy loved every minute of it.  He got shuttled around on the '74 John Deere.  We caught 2 northerns and one walleye.

I was sorry to see your Pats loose.
