26F on my thermometer in Crawford co. ICE in a cup of water on my front porch! So happy just to see a little bit of the clear stuff!

Had 30 here in Blair county this am with a pretty heavy frost. Finally it feels like archery season which means hopefully ice isn't too far off!

I had 37 at my house and a buddy 1/4 mile away said he had 34. I had frost on my windshield and he didn't! I bet momma has the pellet stove burning right now, LOL!

I got the clam out and ready to go, just waiting on ice!

It was 28 at my house last night with a heavy frost. Man that was a site for sore eyes, things are finally starting to look better for us.

Had 34 degrees this morning at 0600 when drove past Sayers. I am willing to put my boat away tomorrow if ice will be here sooner. Can't wait to get out. Think I like ice fishing better than being on the boat.

30f now with a light frost in Crawford co! Cold is a comin', leaves are about all gone off the trees, geese are moving....Now to see the tundra swans..... My home lake gets drawn down on the 1st of November, that is when I put in the canoe and have the lake all to myself! I take my flasher out and see what the fish are doing just b4 ice up!!!!

It went down to 29 at my house last night with a good frost and from the looks of the forecast that's going to be the normal lows starting next week.

We are finally getting some below freezing temps and it looks like it will stay cold for at least a few days. Should get the lake water temps down.

I had 25 this morning and spotted some skim ice! Gonna be below freezing tonight and all day tomorrow and down near 10 tomorrow night. Looks like I will be getting all my ice-fishing clothes out to go the H.S. Football game tomorrow night!

The lakes have a long way to go yet, but I was pretty pleased to see this, this morning. 16 degrees when we opened up at 6AM. December ice would sure be nice!

last night we had 19 at my house and I am at a low elevation. All ponds here have a skim of ice.

Just went and picked up my Erie boat .. was getting winterized all the ponds on the way to kittanning pa had skim ice!!!

I just spend three nights working out of town sleeping in my truck.... I was not prepared for 10f..... I was a bit chilly, but loving the cold weather! I came home to Crawford co to find ponds capped and tundra geese on the lake.... Early winter!!! Ice by 2nd week of dec if all is well!!!!!

I'm hoping you're right. There were two ponds that were about 75% skimmed over this morning and the other ones I checked were cooling off really well.
