Title: Mid park Lakers
Post by: JohnnyO19 on Jan 19, 2021, 10:04 PM
Spent the entire day on Sunday @ my favorite Laker lake. Marked fish pretty much all day, but was difficult to get them to bite mid day. Caught 16 total, but no big ones. 19in. was the largest. White tube/sucker meat and a purple/white glow buckshot were the top baits. Fished the morning 53ft, afternoon 63-68ft. Fish were more aggressive later in the day, and were mainly suspended @ 36ft. So much fun, as I easily missed or lost just as many fish throughout the day. It's a blast playing the game on the flasher  ;) Weather was perfect, no wind at all.

one of the smaller ones, but not the smallest

Was an excellent day, just what I needed. (except for the blizzard on Berthoud Pass)  :o

the only char-fish i've caught are brookies...

question: do lake trout have that super soft musculature like brookies?
are they mega-slimey like brookies?
