Joe's pond
« on: Feb 23, 2018, 01:42 PM »
I have heard good and bad about Joe's pond trout fishing. Does anyone have experience fishing for trout there that can give me the real scoop. I have never ice fished there but may try it before this season is over. Every year I like to try a few new places.

Also, is the perch fishing any good? I guess the smelt fishing is decent from what I hear.

Joes pond is hit or miss on trout, if your going to target them your best chances are out off the boat launch there is a brook that flows in there (not a very big brook). Perch fishing can be good if you find them which usually isn't to hard there all over the pond, and you can get some good eaters. I perch fish it regularly in winter it's my home town pond as I only live cpl miles from there. Hope this helps, and good luck fishbbc.
