has anyone fished outer mallets bay this year? unsure of the ice conditions looks good from shore will gingerly cut holes on the way out & report ice depth & pics of my catch.
fished sims point at the gut last sun caught some nice slab perch & a lot of dinks. most of my slabs were caught high water depth is around 12 ft in channel good 6 inches of ice there 20 or so other people fishing around same area. good place to try if you dont mind sorting them out.
