Anybody looking for a heater, Home Depot just reduced the price on the Dyna Glo tag-a-long heater. It is now $35.00....good deal for anyone looking for a heater.....the dyna glo is the equivalent to the Mr. Heater Little Buddy.

I just bought a new Mr. Heater for 35.00 from Lowes! Bass pro wanted 100 dollars for the same model!!

What state did u get this in? DO you have a part # or sku...I have been searching the HD website, and it doesnt even list them. If I had the model...I could call them I quess...THanks

Find your local store on the HD site then put in SKU# 135-909. It does not come up on the main site just your local store.

Do you know how long this sale is going to last? This looks like a exact copy of the mr.heater! But half the price. I think im going to pick up the smaller one. Can you hook these up to the big 20lb bottles like with the mr.heaters?

Pretty sure you can but need the adaptor to go from 1 lb to bigger tank.

JOsh you can hook them up to a 20 lb. tank. I hook up my heater and lantern to a tree when I hit the shanty.

Thanks do i need to use the fuel filter on the hose with it?

Shovel thanks for the information about the heaters! They did have them up here and for 35 bucks! Even picked up another bigger version Dyna Glo for 55 bucks. WHat a deal!

Josh, I WOULD use the filter! They save you trouble in the long run!

I got the cheaper $35 dollar one and the hose to attach it to the larger tank. I was looking at hoses on cabellas and the hose with the regulator said you didn't need to use the fuel filter if it has a regulator. I looked on the box and it said the heater has a regulator, so do i still need the fuel filter or not? What can exactly happen if you dont use the fuel filter?

Thanks for the info fellas - I picked up the $35 model today. I was also going to get the $55 model, but they are sold out. I'll keep looking because that is a great price.

josh, search the threads in the Equipment forum on Buddy Heater problems. You'll need the filter for using bulk tanks because if you get any of the oil from your tank into the heater mechanisms it can clog the lines and systems to the point of malfunction. There is quite a bit of oil in those bigger tanks. The Dyna-Glo tagalong series looks to be real similar, if not sturdier, version of the Buddys. You might also want to look into the pilot wind baffle that Lonewolf created to ease blowouts. Again in the Equipment forum (1st Sticky post).

I tried to get in on the sale as soon as I saw the posts but our Homo Depot was already out. They look like real solid units, but as you may discover they have their fussy pecularities.

I bought one of these today, test ran in shack, seemed to heat it up fast, hopefully will give a good testing this weekend. good buy at $35.00.

Thanks for posting this, I bought one this morning and used it all day in my hut. Actually had to turn it off a couple of times, and this was on Low. Wonder what you use HIGH for....making pizzas....tanning?
