Best Music on the Ice

I like to start with the 60's Motown stuff, and then move into the hard rock stuff later.

I hear you on the Hank III !!!!
I bring along a coupla bagpipe cd's I got for xmas some years ago as a joke gift.  If we got a newbie with us, I crank it up and tell a fabricated story about how we should listen to this since icefishing got started in Scotland, etc.  I got my buddy Marc to sit through an entire CD of it one day. Gullible gullible gullible.

I'll have some country, only if my cousin is with me & I want to put her in the mood!  Ha, ha!  You don't need any music out there,& last time I checked, there is no ice south of the Mason-Dixon Line, so there is no need for any of that nonsense noise (country) out on the ice!!!

I so agree with you!! The music I want anytime I am fishing, whether on ice or water, is the music nature provides.

If I listen to music it's in my pop up and played low.  I'm with you I don't care to hear someone else's music.  Even if it is easy listening or country.

I like the song "Peace and Quiet" by Gentle Wind..

 Winchester 88
Has the rain a father?
Or who has begotten the drops of dew?
From whose womb comes the ice?
And the frost from heaven, who gives it birth?
By the breath of God ice is given and the broad waters are frozen.
The waters harden like stone and the surface of the deep is frozen.

The book of Job.

Vexilar hum is a great sound, expecially ona cold quiet morning. Anything else just gets irritating. No Noise is Good Noise!

Gangsta Rap as loud as I can play it!!!!!  The walleye are drawn to that heavy bass.  NOT!!!!  I,  as others have said peace and quiet,  just the hum of the Vex and the pop of the ice.

Absolutely none; thats why we go out there, to get away from all the bs; if you do bring out tunes; be considerate and keep it low.
