Just kiddin, but she knows better than to tell me I need permission......it's all about letting them know ahead of time.
Every new years eve at 12:01 I let her know I'll be fishing every weekend all year.

LMao works for me too. Either that or start and argument with her. Then pretend your so mad at her and tell her I got to get out of here I'm going fishing. lol works everytime

Mine goes with me.  She has a blast.  I think she might even like to do it a little more than I do.

She helps drag the gear out, takes her own fish off (if they haven't swallowed the hook) and baits her own hook.  I'm a lucky man!

Even though we bowl, golf, fish, hunt, camp, garden, snorkel, play pool, drink, watch Pistons, Lions, Tigers and Wings together every night they are televised if we do not go in person etc... we still do not get enough time together.

Thats why we consider ourselves BEST FRIENDS and husband/wife!

No seperation time needed in this relationship.

Better yet, the wife is on this site And yes, we do have pics. I will post one from two weeks ago in gale force conditions that she insisted going out on at 5:30 AM to catch Walleye. We only caught Bass, but it was better than nothing. The pic is in a cove, so it is hard to see the 15" whitecaps we weathered in the coleman crawdad with a trolling motor that died battling the waves for 7 hours of trolling. 




These are the only two photos in photo bucket for now, but I am sure she will have many more to post soon enough. You will see Steelhead, Salmon, Walleye, Burbot, Gills, Bass etc...Dorado and Wahoo at 51" apiece etc...

No excuse / reason needed.  I tell her I'm going and ask her if she wants to go.  More often then not I go alone, but she does enjoy it providing it isn't "too cold" or I'm leaving "too early".  If I would try the sex or fish scenario, I'd not get on the ice till noon !!
