 I am from davison, so will travel 75 n in some fashion, but will find a couple opps to fish. If I go straight up, I pass Higgins, houghton, St Helen, If I swing to Cad area, Cad/ Mitchell. I think Skegimag is up that way. If it were you , which would you try. I do not have sled,/machine of any kind. I tried Higgins last year for smelt, fished from 10 p;m- 3 a:m , froze, caught 3.. Am goin up to visit folks, play some music in Traverse area, then the ride home, in a day or two. Would like panners, and tip-up opps.  thanks all

The entire chain of lakes off from torch lake is pretty decent fishing and there's a pretty wide variety from panfish to walleye and muskie. I'm not very familiar with them myself so can't offer any spots. Intermediate Lake and lake Bellaire seem like interesting lakes to fish to me.
