Smaller lake

Looking for a small lake that maybe will lock up quicker then most around blair NE up to South Dakota border would chalkrock lake be worth looking into or just wait for all the lakes to freeze I'm just dieing to get out and fish  :tipup:

If you like trout fishing you could try Crystal Cove in South Sioux City. They are fun on ultra light gear and easy to catch. Also I hear the Fremont Lakes are good for panfish.

As a kid when I use to live in ssc we use to kill the trout I'll fish any thing right now and does any one know can you fish the old crystal lake just west of South Sioux city by the air port use to fish it as a kid

That's to bad use to fish it as a kid a lot cause my grandpa was the one who organized and setting up of getting that lake dredged out

never did well there,now the lake just south of crystal cove is another story and im not sure if its open to the public anymore either.

Gateway lake always herd good stories about it growing up but never fished it cause was always told it was private

Well truck packed and auger gased up hoping either kramper lake powder creek or buckskin has enough ice for me to get on to fish Sunday if any one drives by and see a maroon Chevy Truck that me stop on out and say hi and wish we luck  :tipup:
