I just ordered a the adapter cord to plug my garmin 73 CV into my minnkota terrova, I dont use front fish finder much so do I need a power cord or can I run it off the battery in the ice bundle?

Your Terrova has US2 (Universal Sonar), I assume hence the adapter cable for the transducer. You can power from the ice bundle or hardwire to the boat 12v. Either way will work.

Depends on the TM. Some are only 2D sonar and others are both 2D and Mega Down Imaging capable. Lots of extra $$ for the DI capable.
