Fished tonight in 34ft of h20 off of the town park (by standpipe) fishing was slowwwww. was using gold slender spoon tipped with waxies or minnow head. had a nice school of crappie come through suspended bout 28ft, other then that it was all dinks on the bottom. water is a bit murky. Its never been this slow early ice.

Please lets use this thread for chit chat about Silver lake ice fishing and only post the ice and fishing reports on the report and conditions thread this year.   We hear this same comment every year but we get people asking questions on the report and conditions thread such as how is the fishing or ice conditions, how deep is the snow on the lake,  can I use a machine on the ice now or is anyone going fishing this weekend and etc and etc.  Those comments and questions are not reports and should be asked on this Silver Lake thread.  If there is clutter on the reports and conditions thread there is a chance of getting the thread locked.  Please report correctly and happy and safe ice fishing this year.

Thanks
Perch Chacer
