Well we have many waters in the state that hold brookies. My question is where are you in NH ( I'm assuming you live in NH based on your handle) and how far are you willing to venture ?

I went out 2 days ago and got one in a pond named horn pond in wakefield. It is a border pond that is stocked pretty heavy with brookies and bows.

Lots of waters in NH where brook trout are located and ice fishing is allowed, now catching them is another question(?) Go to the home page of NH Fish and Game www.wildlife.state.nh. us.Fishing.htm   It will provide you a list of all open ice fishing trout waters throughout the state by counties, interested in brook trout, then target those specific bodies of water- then go to the stocking list(they will only give out 2002,maybe 2003 by now) and get an idea on how many brook trout were stocked(NH usually doesn't vary too much from year to year). Now it is up to you to catch them? Site also has a list of ice Derbies.
