Sate of Maine has stocked lakes with large pop. of white perch with Browns to help control their pop. and some of these lakes have turned into trophy brown trout waters.

big browns will feed on just about any thing that is easy for them to get to.  an easy target is an easy target.  here in wyoming we catch alot of browns threw the ice early.  they spawn in november and december so in january they are making there way back to the main lake.  we set up shop in the back waters of pathfinder and this year alone i have cought five and six pounders on sucker minnows and fat heads and jigs so i think that location is the key hope this helps and keep your skick on the ice.

yes.

rule of thumb is trout will feed on anything half it's own body length and smaller, but we've seen them try to eat bigger too.

everything eats perch, even perch.

lets put it this way
in from my experience in hatcheries, a 4" brown trout will TRY to eat a 3.75" brown trout if it is weak.

i must add "try", because usually they both die, from suffocation.

Might wanna check your state regulations, as here in Maine it is illegal to use perch,or any spiny finned fish as bait.

Any trout, rainbows, browns, brookies, lakers, cutthroats, doesn't matter, they all primarly feed on baitfish. Given perch are abundant baitfish and are very easy for predators to catch, the answer is a certain yes.
Politically incorrect, and proud of it.
