I haven't been at Calling for a few years now but last time I was there there was pike, perch, walleyes and whites. You should check the regs as I heard the the government fisheries was doing some kind of long term study on the lake and they were closing sections of the lake.Had great luck on Orloff lake, which is just a ways down the road from calling, using minnows on tip ups and jigging with a rapala. You might want to stop by the fishin hole and pick up the "Alberta Fishing Guide" I find that you only have to buy one every few years and then if you travel anywhere in Alberta you can check out the area lakes and talk to the locals about them.

Hope this will help alittle and Good Fishin and tight lines.
