Last Sunday it was 8-10 inches.I strongly doubt it that it is not safe now.Specially with the temps last night and today.I am planning a Saturday trip.Anyway be careful and stay safe.Good luck!!!

You were right roofman, went today and still about 10” of ice.  There were about 8 of us out there, I caught 2 pike, nothing jigging.  Edges were fine.  Thanks again.

We are hitting the north bay tommorrow. Unfortunately, not till noon. Pretty sure the ice from last week is still there. Hopefully, more pike though

Hit South Bay today with my dad and 2 buddies. Landed one Pike and lost one at the hole. Couple small perch. Nothing exciting
The BIG one is just one flag away!

Species caught : largemouth, smallmouth,  bluegill, perch, White perch, crappie, trout, catfish, bowfin, pickerel, pike

Fished south cove yesterday. Day started with thick fog and sound of few augers. By 10 am or so the fog started to lift and there were few guys out in a distance. Not many like previous weekend. Ice was good. Some water after that brief rain overnight. Managed to get 5 flags and landed 2 pike. All under 28 inches. It was slow at times and the flags came almost one after another in a coordinated like manner. Lol.

Went to Bantam today. Slow day. Had 3 flags and landed a small perch. Nice day to be on ice.  Few parties out there, but seemed like nobody was doing much. By 1 p.m. or so everybody was packing up. Oh well perhaps next time.

I agree with icyfish007 it was pretty slow. Fished from 7 to 12 and only 2 fish caught between the 3 of us. 1 pikeral and 1 small pike maybe 14 inches. Lots of people. Ice was 7 to 8 inches where we fished

Very slow day on the flags.  2 guys 3 flags, lost one fish..  Perch showed up for a bit on the jig rod,  ended up with half a dozen solid ones and a bunch of dinks. Didn't  see much action  around in any of the group's I could see
i fish because i can

Fished the South Bay also 7-2. Was slow but it was my 1st time there, did not know what to expect. Ended up with 3 flags all day but did manage 2 Pike one real small and other decent size. Did not see much action from anybody close by just a few flags here and there.
