Anyone know the ice thickness at Crystal lake in Ellington ?

It’s wide open as of a few days ago. Usually last to freeze.

checked sunday. light ice out about 50 yards. everything else was wide open.

you'll find me i'm sure. going to be out somewhere tomorrow, not sure where. i'll check crystal again it should be close. probably black pond though i was on black pond last week.
look for the green bibs and the shappel 50 wind break. shaping up to be a good season for ice.

Was there on sunday plenty of ice. Ice thickness was about 8 inches.

Was there on saturday Feb. 3rd. 8" of good ice and not bad walking with 2-3" of snow on top. Slow fishing just got one smallmouth and a slot trout. Good luck

8'' TO 9'' ice today 2/9 at Crystal.

Yep, 8-10” in front of boat launch yesterday. One guy walked all the way across the lake.
Poco/Loco, was that you fishing off boat launch with bad power auger?
I plan to live forever. So far so good!

Just got back from Crystal still 7/8 in of ice. 1 small salmon. 17 inchs. On a dead stick no flags.

Nah,I was fishing a little off shore from where the old Crystal lake Ballroom was. I was the one horsing around with my new toy a Snowdog track vehicle. No flags or fish.
