NE Iowa Mississippi
« on: Jan 12, 2015, 10:57 PM »
Hey everyone,
Looking to head out this weekend and just wanted to see how everyone was doing. Thinking anywhere from Gut tenberg to De Soto bay, just wanted to know if anyone had recently been out around there. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Very slow last weekend. Did't even mark many fish. Charles city had more fish but still tough bit.

My Dad fished Guttenburg last weekend and got about 20 gills, 2 crappie and a nice perch.

Thanks guys, I'm locked in to hit it on Sunday. Not sure if it will be Harpers area or De Soto, but going to give it a shot. I'll let you know how we do. I am assuming there is good ice all over the area? Haven't been out yet.

Lots of people out today on Greymore, Spring Lake, Horseshoe, Sny Magill,  Lynxville today. Also heard the spillway by Harper's has been good but I haven't been there. Good fishing below the lynxville dam for walleyes and sauger this morning.  Have not heard a report on Desoto Bay for today. Good tip up fishing in Greymore for bass according to a friend
