yellow creek state park

New to ice fishing, but have fished the lake from my boat.  Not sure where to begin for panfish this time of year.  Near weeds shallow or deep near main channel?    Any help on depths bait or location would help.

Deep for pans/slabs and shallow for toothies. As far as bait just use wax worms and small minnows if you can find them. Start exploring small jigs for panfish as well, they work great through the ice.
Take me fishin!
