Chicken riggies is a Utica thing. It’s on every menu in every restaurant. I live in the Near Albany now and I’ll never see it around here. And most people have no clue what it is.

Wheatfields in saratoga and Clifton Park have chicken Riggies as does demonicos in Clifton park. Both a good but not quite as good as some places I've had in western ny. As for my favorite diner, crazy Ottos in Herkimer is by far my favorite. Best burgers I've had. Actually drove there today for breakfast and then took a stop at bass pro. 2 hour drive for me but well worth it.

I hunted the hills of the old mohawk Highland game club. Best hunting I've ever had the pleasure of hunting. And coming down to ottos after a morning sit was always and still a pleasure.

Good 'Ole  Circle E Diner, Hancock NY

Not as good as it used to be, but still good coffee there.

(I know some guy's like to stop at Apps in Cleveland after a day of fishing, for a beverage or two.)

Trap you are right. Can't beat Flo's for the price or quantity of food. That big breakfast is enough for two. I usually make a sandwich with my toast & bacon to take on the ice.

If anyone sees us out there we always have some kind of grilling going on. We always have venison, bear, wild boar, wild turkey, duck, goose, I guess more or less anything you can hunt or catch its on our grill and a lot of it. Our biggest hit was our venison- bear wild boar bacon cheeseburgers 🍔 😁

Not much fishing gets done 😂😂, usually eat like a king and nap in the heated clam while all the tip up flags are going up and the fish run all the line out 😂😂- we do ship but no guarantees if it'll get to ya cause once the ups driver smells it , it's bound to never get delivered 😂😂

I am pretty sure The Dolphin View is not in operation. They now run a river cruise dinner out of that dock.
Bunnell , Fl. Inland miles from Flagler Beach , the Little Chef. Flounder sandwich you need 2 hands to get around it. $7.80.

If your fishing Sodus, the Alton Coffee Cup in Alton(RT.14 north off Rt. 104) is great for breakfast before ice fishing on Sodus and for dinner(or lunch) I like Skippers Landing Rest. in North  Rose, right on Sodus Bay looking west to see Eagle Island in Sodus Bay. They even have a fresh perch fry on the menu. ;D ;D ;D
