I think its been pretty well supported to run mini areas, guys from that area pick a place, date, time and anyone else who wants to, can show up, and then everyone discuss the main event.

In the other forum we had thought Big Round would be a good one for North West WI. That would still be a great choice

How does every one feel about Dec. 29

Where is Big Round located? I'm kinda in BFE from everyone. The 29th sounds pretty good, I'd say bump it up to the 22nd, but that's too close to Christmas if people have to travel that weekend. But yeah, let's get the ball rollin

Big Round Lake is located in Polk County. December 29 works for me.

It would be sweet if we could somehow keep a calendar of events published online, so we can more easily look up when and where events are going to be without having to scan through all of these threads.

That's pretty good, but it's not quite a calendar. I was talking more about being able to quickly look at a monthly calendar for weekends I have free to see if any events match up.

Not a bad idea, nacker! There's been a few times. After fishing most of the day by myself, or with one or two friends. One hears about a decent event, just a few miles away, that we could have attended!

Brujharr since you have first post, can you edit that first one so that as we get events "set" you can add them to the first post for a quick easy access look? and as each comes up keep puting a period or something behind the event so it gets bumped up on the forum?

Buck was the nickname my one grandpa gave me at 2 hours old, and I was born in 1985. I spose a guy should be there around 7ish if not before. We should meet somewhere and get a convoy goin up. what kind of fish are most common in Big Round?

Last winter I caught a bunch of jumbo perch so I know they are there. It is a great walleye lake also. Lots of largemouth too.

I will be there around 9am. I have to work that night and will be going straight from work.

Just post as to where on the lake everyone will be.

Coming from Chippewa I'll try to be there about 7ish. Buck, is there a landing on the E. side of the lake? Or just the W. side off 80th. I've not been up there in a few years, so my memory is a little fuzzy!
