1st Musky

I had a couple of buddies up this weekend in Land O Lakes. We got a bunch of small walleyes, but we got my buddy's first Musky. I don't like bringing them through the hole, but this one was wrapped in line and had a hook deep. In 2 minutes she was back to swimming.

Must've been a good weekend for muskies. My buddies brother caught one that big yesterday.  Gongrats on the fist musky.  My first musky was through the ice as well, but only a 2lb tiger musky back in 1990.

I think that cold front whipping through on Saturday probably triggered it. We had pretty solid winds all day/evening on the UP/Wis boarder.
