Waving goodbye, saying hello
« on: Feb 19, 2018, 07:17 PM »
Waving goodbye to Saginaw River ice... Saying hello to Flint river walleye run.... Sad to see ice fading so fast.... I'm sure there will be open water at zilwaukee bridge tomorrow if not already..... Hope it slows down enough to get the boat on it before March 15th.... Interested to see how my 14' with my 1966 Evinrude 3hp holds up in the river.... Just rebuilt the carb on it so it purrs like a kitten... Not sure how fast I'll be going upriver tho lol

It's name is "the **censored**"  it's a flat bottom with a v front pre 1960s meyers... The motor is a foldable Evinrude 3hp.... Got boat motor and trailer for my crossbow last year.... it's  a pretty thin hull so I do t get TOO adventurous with it.... Although on super calm day I wanna go to augres and run bottom bouncers in it

Sounds like a sea worthy vessel. Good luck out there.
